Study Visit 1:Unemployment and social exclusion: A challenge for the European Union (Work Package 2): The “Study Visit 1: Unemployment and Social Exclusion: A Challenge for the European Union” work package aims to enhance understanding and collaboration among stakeholders across Slovenia, Greece, and Spain. By organizing a study visit in Novo Mesto, Slovenia, and involving diverse participants and project leaders selected through interviews and questionnaires, the project seeks to address critical issues of unemployment and social exclusion. This initiative promotes cross-country learning and cooperation to develop effective strategies and policies within the European context.
Study Visit 2 : Unemployed Active citizenship in the European Decision making (Work Package 3): The “Study Visit 2: Unemployed Active Citizenship in European Decision Making” work package aims to promote active citizenship among the unemployed within the context of European decision-making processes. By organizing a study visit in Romania and involving stakeholders from Greece, Hungary, and Slovenia, the project seeks to explore and document effective strategies and practices. This initiative not only fosters knowledge exchange and collaboration among participants but also contributes to developing a comprehensive e-Book on good practices and disseminating project insights widely across the EU.
Study Visit 3: ―Raise your voice‖: Unemployment in the centre of Europe (Work Package 4): The “Study Visit 3: ‘Raise your voice’: Unemployment in the centre of Europe” work package aims to deepen understanding and collaboration among participants from Italy, Croatia, and Romania regarding unemployment issues within the EU context. By organizing a study visit in Voio (Siatista), Greece, and involving stakeholders from partner organizations, the project seeks to analyze EU policies on unemployment and their responses to COVID-19 challenges. This initiative aims to foster knowledge exchange, document best practices, and disseminate insights widely to contribute to ongoing discussions and policy developments in Europe.
Workshop (Round Table) 1: Unemployed Active citizenship: COVID19 effects, labour market changes and opportunities (Work Package 5): The “Workshop (Round Table) 1: Unemployed Active Citizenship: COVID-19 Effects, Labour Market Changes and Opportunities” work package aims to address the impact of COVID-19 on local labour markets in Croatia. By convening a workshop in Kalnik, the project facilitates dialogue among unemployed individuals, stakeholders, experts, and local authorities. The initiative seeks to document and analyze COVID-19 effects, promote intercultural exchange, and discuss strategies for adapting to evolving labour market conditions. This effort contributes to fostering informed discussions, sharing experiences, and identifying opportunities for active citizenship amidst economic challenges posed by the pandemic.
Workshop (Round Table) 2: Unemployed Active citizenship: Benefits & Ways of activation (Work Package 6): The “Workshop (Round Table) 2: Unemployed Active Citizenship: Benefits & Ways of Activation” work package aims to deepen understanding and collaboration among participants in Penne, Italy. By organizing a workshop and involving diverse stakeholders, experts, and authorities, the project aims to explore methodologies and benefits of citizen activation amidst COVID-19 challenges. This initiative includes producing a comprehensive report, developing an OER online platform, and fostering intercultural dialogue to empower unemployed individuals with digital skills and knowledge related to active citizenship and employment policies.

Participants will engage in discussions aimed at exploring new ideas and strategies for promoting active citizenship within their communities. This initiative supports the project’s broader goals of empowering unemployed individuals and stakeholders through education, dialogue, and the development of practical initiatives.

Through seminars and local events, the project will facilitate knowledge exchange, engage diverse stakeholders, and disseminate information widely to promote understanding and support for active citizenship initiatives. This initiative contributes to enhancing community involvement and empowering unemployed individuals through shared experiences and innovative practices.
Seminar 2: Unemployed Active citizenship: Share Good Practices (Work Package 10): Share Good Practices” aims to foster active citizenship among unemployed individuals through knowledge sharing and local engagement. By organizing seminars in Spain and Romania and involving various stakeholders and citizen groups, the project seeks to disseminate best practices and innovative initiatives. Additionally, through extensive outreach via media channels and local events, the project aims to inform a large audience about its objectives and outcomes, thereby promoting broader awareness and participation in active citizenship initiatives.
European conference: ―E-DEMOCRACY: A TOOL FOR ACTIVATING UNEMPLOYED CITIZENS’ PARTICIPATION”” (Work Package 11): The work package focuses on organizing a European conference to promote e-democracy among unemployed citizens. It emphasizes quality assurance, effective project management, financial oversight, and comprehensive evaluation to ensure the project achieves its objectives and influences policy at both national and European levels. This structured approach ensures that the project not only meets its immediate goals but also contributes to long-term impacts through strategic planning and evaluation.
